JIDNYASA EXAMINATION


Jidnyasa Competitive Exam was held on 12th January at K.K.Wagh Arts, Sci & Comp Sci College kakasaheb nagar, Ranwad, Tal Niphad ( Nashik). For this examination total 114 candidate was appear, the result of Jidnyasa Exam. Will be declared on first week of February. The Examination based on the STI, PSI & MPSC pattern, students gets approach to gate way of competitive Examinations.

PROJECT WORK


ESTIMATION OF SOIL CONTENTS, ITS FERTILITY IN DIFFERENT SOIL SAMPLE & ITS RECOMDATIONS

            Six candidates of F.Y, S.Y & T.Y BSc are doing work on soil sampling & soil testing in Chemistry Department laboratory. The major steps in project are soil sampling, preparation of soil sample, Extraction & analysis of available nutrients & micro-nutrients by an appropriate laboratory method, Data Interpretation & its recommendations comparing with standard data. For this project using different instruments such as pH metry, Conductometer, Potentiometer, Colorimetry, Centrifugator etc
             After soil testing, nutrients supply map cab be drawn for farms. Such map can provide useful information regarding the soil fertility status. The extent of soil fertility maps can be used for planning nutrients management strategies depends on how through, recent & representative the soil sampling has been done. Macro level maps are more useful as an awareness & educational tool rather than for determining out nutrient application strategies. Hence soil sampling is a must to obtain economic yields from crop plants.
